At the VII SIMA 2023 event, presentations of high scientific rigor were made that demonstrated innovative research advances with the participation of national and foreign speakers. In addition, it was qualified by the signing of new commercial contracts and important strategic agreements to enhance research, development and scientific innovation activities.

With the assistance of 79 Cuban delegates and 45 foreigners, from Ecuador, Spain, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Italy, South Korea, Australia, Mexico, Peru and Serbia, the scientific activities were carried out satisfactorily. A total of 48 oral presentations were presented, including 2 virtual offline ones, and 79 posters. Several meetings were held in the business session where very important agreements were made that ensure our commercial strategy in the short, medium and long term.

Within the activities scheduled for the CNIC ProNat 2022 event, the digital book "A new pharmaceutical for the 21st century" was launched, published by the CENIC publishing house.
The work is a compendium that shows the contribution of 13 scientists from Latin America to the development of pharmacological knowledge of natural products, as a contribution to the expansion of scientific knowledge from open science for the benefit of all of society.
