COVID-19 arrived quickly and without notice, and if there was one thing it clearly demonstrated, it is the preparation of a consolidated scientific and pharmaceutical system in Cuba that could respond, from any angle, to a pandemic that was causing havoc in the world. The National Scientific Research Center (CNIC), world-renowned for the development of Policosanol (PPG), was also part of this fight. Today, at the age of 55, he was involved in enhancing his portfolio of services and natural products.

MINSAP authorities, experts and scientists from BioCubaFarma are now participating in the Scientific Workshop "Policosanol: A look at its effects on blood pressure", conceived as part of the CNIC's scientific development strategy.
