The VII edition of the SIMA event, which took place from September 26 to 30, 2023, began in the best way, with the inaugural conference given by Dr. C. Adianez Taboada Zamora, Vice Minister of CITMA. With presentations of a high scientific level, each session was a unique space to show the innovative advances in science in environmental issues, durability of materials, corrosion and renewable energy. Delegates from Cuba, Spain, Mexico, China, France, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Canada, Italy and Chile participated. Not only were presentations of high scientific rigor made, but also spaces for new negotiations and trade agreements multiplied. In short, this event constituted a catalyst for national and international scientific progress.
