Inclusion of Ozone Therapy in the national action protocol against COVID-19 (August 26, 2020)

The exploratory clinical trial study phase of rectal ozone therapy in positive patients for COVID 19, with mild and moderate symptoms, was successfully completed. Preliminary results indicate that rectal ozone therapy made CRP negative on the 5th day by 40% higher than that achieved by conventional treatment. Such results supported the inclusion of rectal ozone therapy in the national action protocol for COVID 19 of the MINSAP, version 1.5, for the persistent positive COVID 19 patient.
