History
The National Center for Scientific Research (CNIC) was created by Presidential Resolution on July 1, 1965, becoming the first multidisciplinary scientific center created by the revolution. Nowadays, it is a company that integrates the Group of Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Industries (BioCubaFarma) of the Republic of Cuba, dedicated to scientific research, production and marketing about pharmaceutical products.
The CNIC is by nature one of the leading institutions of the Cuban biotechnology industry, with recognized prestige at a national and international level.
